Students to Showcase Talent at Fall Coffee Houses

Throughout the school year, our talented students perform on stage in our intimate, black-box-style Commons Theater as part of division-level Coffee Houses. The Lower School holds one Coffee House per year, while the Middle & Upper divisions hold one in the fall and another in the late winter/early spring. Coffee Houses are open to the public and Fall 2016 dates include:
  • Middle School: Friday, October 14 at 7 p.m.
  • Upper School: Friday, October 21 at 7 p.m.
  • Lower School: Friday, November 4 at 7 p.m.
Parents, faculty, and student peers are always blown away by the incredible voices, instrumentation, and overall musicianship of our student community—don’t miss out on these nights of individual and group performances (plus, occasional surprise faculty performances)! Students can sign up to perform beginning Sept. 30 for Middle School, Oct. 7 for Upper School, and by Oct. 14 for Lower School. Details here.

Acts include instrument or vocal solos, musical/instrument groups, poetry readings, monologue readings, short scenes, and dances.

Coffee Houses provide a unique opportunity for students to showcase their talents in front of their family members, faculty and peers, and to work one-on-one with Ranney Performing Arts teachers and our student-led tech crew.
