Boys' and Girls' Track Competes in Penn Relays

On April 25-27, Ranney School boys’ and girls’ outdoor track and field teams competed on the campus of UPenn at the 128th running of the Penn Relays. The Penn Relays are the oldest and largest relay carnival in the world where high school, college, and professional athletes all compete side by side.

The Ranney boys’ and girls’ teams both competed in the 4x100 and 4x400. The boys' team (Alex Lennon '26, Adam Urs '26, Cash Balogh '27, and JT Cook '24) broke the school record in the 4x400.

Competing on the girls' team were Priscilla Michel '24, Rae Tarantino '26, Savanna Stemmermann '26, and Zoe Keefe '25.

“We are just entering the championship portion of our track season, and the Penn Relays were great preparation,” said Coach Ron Crocker.
