We are pleased to announce that our 2012 Summer Programs at Ranney School brochure and application are now online. As the summer extension of Ranney School, our summer programs offer an outstanding selection of Academic, Gifted and Talented, Fine and Performing Arts courses, as well as Day, Trip and Sport Camps. We invite you to read more about all the exciting opportunities we offer.

We encourage you to register by March 2 in order to take advantage of best prices and ensure a spot in our most popular courses and camps. After March 2, 2012 the early discount will expire and the tuition noted in the brochure will apply. To reserve your child’s place in day, trip or six-week academic programming, please mail your completed enrollment form with a $500 non-refundable deposit. When you register for our two and three-week Academic Courses and Sport Camps a non-refundable complete payment must accompany your registration form.

As a means of rewarding your commitment to Ranney in the Summer Day Camp, we would like to offer you a $100.00 referral discount for each new camper who enrolls in a minimum of four weeks of our Day Camp. Referred campers must not have attended camp last summer and must register for a minimum of 4 weeks this summer.

Referral discounts will be paid during the last week of camp (August 13-17) or may be used toward next summer’s camp fees. Referred campers must complete the referred camper registration form available through the Summer Camp office in the Gerhard Pavilion or by calling 732-542-4777 ext. 6177.

Our elementary and high school courses continue to expand with additional offerings this year in art courses for elementary and high school students. In addition, a High School Prep Course that focuses on reading, writing and study skills foundations has been developed for students entering the ninth grade in the fall.

Our Interactive Preschool Adventure weeks have been doubled to provide eight highly engaging, cross-disciplined themed weeks where skill-building is the result of fun, fun, fun!

Additional elementary STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) enrichment courses have been added this year in robotics, science and math, including Singapore Math. Our architecture, engineering, math, science and technology courses are very popular so please sign up early to reserve your child’s place in these highly dynamic courses.

This summer promises to be an exciting one with further enhanced Gifted and Talented courses designed to meet the needs of students who exhibit the advanced cognitive skills and intrinsic motivation to delve deeply into a topic of interest. This enrichment curriculum challenges students to extend their learning by developing higher order thinking skills, and provides applications for inquiry, project-centered learning and shared discussion. Should you be interested in Gifted and Talented courses, I encourage you to sign up early, as these classes will likely be popular again this year.
