Vincent Bai '22 Selected to NJ All-State Chorus
Vincent Bai '22 was accepted into the 2019 NJ All-State Chorus. Over 880 high school students from around the state auditioned by video submission. Vincent was required to sing scales, a short solo, and hold his voice part within an SATB madrigal. His performance secured him a spot among the Tenor section. Rehearsals begin in September and culminate in a concert to be held in Atlantic City on November 8, 2019 at 7pm and again at NJPAC on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at 3:00pm.
The purpose of the NJ All-State Chorus is to offer a unique educational experience to the best qualified vocal students in New Jersey. Accepted students perform choral literature of the highest quality under the direction of an outstanding conductor.
This will be Vincent's second opportunity representing Ranney School's choral program in an honors chorus - his first was this past February when he performed with the All-Shore Chorus, the best high school choral singers from Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
"Please congratulate him as he advances to the state level and continues his growth as a vocal musician," said Performing Arts Faculty member Mrs. Torrente.
