Food Drive Collects 3,000+ Pounds for Lunch Break
In conjunction with its Panthers Against Hunger event, Ranney’s student-led club RHOPE coordinated a school-wide food drive for Lunch Break’s Client’s Choice pantry. The drive collected 3,034 pounds of food.
The Lower School carline helper students advertised the drive each day with sandwich boards to increase awareness. The Middle School, which set a division-wide goal of 22 boxes, exceeded its divisional goal by filling 26 boxes to donate. Upper School students helped organize all of the food and loaded the Lunch Break trucks on the final day of the drive. The food drive is an all-division exercise that shows what can be accomplished through school-wide participation.
