Ranney School Experiential Education Program

Ranney School unveiled its new addition to the innovative curriculum this year with a two-week experiential component for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. The experiental learning program will give our Upper School students the opportunity for hands-on learning in a variety of environments.

According to the Association for Experiential Education, this approach to learning focuses on “Challenge and Experience, followed by Reflection, leading to Learning and Growth.”

All Ranney experiential education courses involve reading, writing, and reflection, and encourage students to apply the skills they have learned in the classroom to situations in the outside world.
