International Students

Ranney School is a strategic choice for international students! With our close proximity to major cities, such as New York City and Philadelphia, our students can easily immerse themselves in American culture while experiencing a warm and welcoming community here at Ranney School, located in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

Ranney’s small class sizes and inspirational and nurturing faculty are all part of a distinctive academic community that values each child’s individuality, academic and co-curricular interests. Ranney has recently hosted students from Canada, China, France and Germany.

Our international program at Ranney School is vibrant and highly selective, providing a small group of international students with a unique cultural and educational experience. International students are expected to be proficient in the English language (reading, writing, speaking, listening).

Ranney School is an authorized user of the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and is authorized to issue a Form I-20 so that students may apply for a student visa to study in the United States. Students will be enrolled via F-1 visas, with the anticipation that they will stay at the school through high school graduation.

Ranney School is an independent, day school. Some of Ranney’s international students live with their own extended family or relatives, but many others are housed through home-stay programs. We do not offer boarding on our campus or coordinate homestay/hosting for students.

Below are details regarding the process and requirements for international student applicants.
PLEASE NOTE: Ranney School only accepts international students to start in the Fall term.
