“Our school has a great diversity of backgrounds and talents. When we combine our interests, our time, and our enthusiasm, we can help create amazing experiences for our students, all while contributing to the sense of community that makes Ranney special.”
Pamela Smith, parent of Hazel, Class of 2022
Plant a Row for the Hungry/Garden Volunteer

"Throughout our 12 years at Ranney, I have found a number of activities that gave me an opportunity to meet families from all grades, develop skills and participate in activities that benefit my child and the Ranney community as a whole. Volunteering also allows me to show my daughter that volunteerism isn't something you do only when you're in school, but that it is important to do throughout your life."
Cathleen Cuciniello, parent of Victoria, Class of 2018
Member of the Parents' Association, Board Education Committee & Panther Athletic Committee

Volunteer & Service Opportunities

Community Service Projects

Our school community is united in its commitment to collaboration, partnership, contribution, and service. Through our 50-plus clubs, activities, and honor societies, students develop positive and proactive citizenship and leadership skills. In collaboration with our Parents' Association and Panthers with a Purpose initiative, students and their families engage with the local community year-round through toy, clothing and food drives, awareness walks, and special projects as outlined on this page.

Our projects have benefitted causes such as autism, pediatric brain cancers, Syrian refugee school, Juvenile Diabetes, the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, the Ronald McDonald House, the Tinton Falls Food Bank, Lunch Break, and the YMCA, and more. Students and parents are also invited to propose and share their community service projects.

Community Volunteer Opportunities

We also encourage and invite parents, alumni, grandparents and alumni parents to participate in our Panther Volunteer Program. This program is a way to share your interests, talents, and time with the school while providing a service to the school community. Whether you have a lot of time or just a little bit, there is always something you can do to make our school great! See the various ways to participate below.

List of 11 items.
