Head of School Letter on Strategic Planning Process (Sept. 26, 2014)
September 26, 2014
Dear Members of the Ranney Community,
Thank you for your participation in our recent focus groups with our consultant, Skip Kotkins.
In an effort to gather more feedback about the school to support a self-study for accreditation with the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools and to reach a broader audience for strategic planning, we have developed a survey that will help us assess the school in areas that speak to mission, teaching, leadership, governance, school resources and facilities, academics, athletics and student life.
The survey has a total of about 60 questions and also welcomes open-ended feedback from members of our community who want to expand on their feedback with more details. The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete and will remain open until Wednesday, October 1 at 10:00 a.m.
Finally, the results of the survey will be shared with the strategic planning steering committee and Skip, who will then help us to prioritize initiatives for school improvement.

We will share the results of the survey with our school community in October and on our strategic planning web page.
