Middle Schoolers Plant Trees Around Campus

Mr. Morgan Einbinder, Middle School Life Science Faculty, is helping students plant trees on campus today. September 20 marks the beginning of the United Nation's congress on climate change in New York City. A grassroots organization, Climate Strike, is encouraging students to take action against climate change and Ranney School students have decided to plant trees on campus.

Trees are vital in the fight against climate change because they remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and turn it into things they, and we, need to live; oxygen and glucose. Additionally, trees are what make our Ranney campus beautiful.

Middle School students are planting four trees at three times during the day.
