Each year, Lower School Librarian Ms. Holly Hovis hosts "Lunch Bunch Book Club" for fifth grade students who are interested in spending their lunch time discussing books.
This past Monday, the Class of 2027 had a lunch bunch book club meeting in the Searle Library. At home, students read assigned chapters of the Andrew Clements book, Frindle. There was great conversation on the author’s message, character traits, and predictions were made on the story. The next meeting will have even more insight and all of the students are looking forward to it!
Our mission is to know and value every child, nurturing intellectual curiosity and confidence, and inspiring students to lead honorably, think creatively, and contribute meaningfully to society.
