Visual Arts Students Named Scholastic Art Winners

The Visual Arts Department  is honored to congratulate Layla Barthwal '22, Alex Forrest '22, Nicole Elwell '22, Mia Stavola '22 and Isabel Romero-Avila '22 for their outstanding photography and for being recognized as Scholastic Art winners.

Our students earned four gold awards, one silver award and four honorable mentions out of a field of approximately 160,000 entries in the South Jersey Region.

Scholastic Art Awards celebrate students locally and nationally, with awards, exhibitions, publications, and scholarships. All entries are considered for Gold Key, Silver Key, Honorable Mention, American Visions Nominee, and American Voices Nominee Awards. These are presented to students along with celebration ceremonies and exhibitions in each region. 

Gold Key entries are automatically considered for national awards, including Gold Medal, Silver Medal with Distinction, Silver Medal, and direct scholarship awards.
