World Language Students Give Back for Valentine's Day

For World Language Week, Senorita Mantlick’s students created Valentine’s Day cards for the patients and frontline workers at Monmouth Medical Center and Jersey Shore Medical Center.
 
The cards were very well received, and the World Language Department is already brainstorming ways to work with these hospitals again.
 
“Thank you so very much for the generous donation of beautiful Valentine’s Day cards from the students of your Spanish class,” said Laura Siemientkowski, Volunteer Services Manager at Monmouth Medical Center. “I couldn’t believe it when I opened the folder – each and every one was so meticulously written and designed.  Your students are amazing!!”
 
Ranney parent Dr. Costanzo helped to coordinate the distribution of cards at the Jersey Shore Medical Center, ensuring the Environmental Department received cards and the employees all greatly appreciated the gesture.
