Tri-M Celebrates Music in Our Schools Month

Tri-M Chapter 5275 is celebrating Music in Our Schools Month this March. The students have worked hard to put together entertaining and engaging activities throughout the entire month for the entire student body.

For the first week, Tri-M members will be profiled each day. The profiles will include an introduction and a short performance. The week will end with the premiere of the Virtual Coffee House at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 5 on YouTube.

The second week will feature a “Name that Tune” Kahoot on March 9 at 11:15am. Also, the Upper School Jazz Band will perform.

For the third week, there will be a daily music-related trivia question. Anyone can answer, and each day’s winner will receive a $25 Amazon gift card. There will be a premiere of the multi-divisional Orchestra on YouTube on March 19.

Also, throughout the entire month, there will be a Song of the Day and profiles of musicians/composers.
