Class of 2021 Celebration and Convocation

On Monday, May 24, the Class of 2021 was honored in the Senior Celebration and Convocation under a tent on the Great Lawn on the campus of Ranney School.

The seniors received words of advice and congratulations from Head of School Dr. John Griffith, Head of Upper School/Assistant Head of School Dr. Greg Martin, and class advisors Mrs. Tracy Mutchiga and Mr. Adam Materasso. The Lifers, students who have been a part of Ranney for 10 or more years, were recognized as well.

Dr. Griffith and Dr. Martin presented the Senior Baskets and the officers of the Class of 2021 presented the class gift. Brooke Schmelz ’21 presented the class chair. It is a Ranney tradition that each class creates an Adirondack chair to remain on campus as a part of its legacy.

Ross Gale ’07 welcome the class as the Alumni Leadership Council Chair, and a video of the seniors through their years at Ranney was played.
