French Honor Society Visits 4th Grade French Class to Bake
On February 24, the Upper School French Honor Society worked with the fourth grade French students to help them bake a French treat!
The students followed a recipe to make Madeleines. Madeleines are very small sponge cakes with shell-like shapes. The traditional cake is form Commercy and Liverdun, two communes of the Lorraine region in northeastern France. The main ingredients are flour, sugar, and eggs.
They students were able to enjoy the snacks that afternoon in their class!
