Abby Boyan Breaks School Record

Varsity Soccer Player Abigail (Abby) Boyan ‘18 broke the Ranney school record for goals scored on November 1 when she scored against Moorestown Friends in the NJSIAA Non-Public B Tournament first-round game.  She made the 66th and 67th goals of her career during the game, having previously tied the school record of 65 goals on October 28 against Donovan Catholic.
 
The previous record was held by the Class of 2007’s Ali Chavers. Even more outstanding is that, as a junior, Abby achieved the record in just three seasons. Her breakdown is as follows:
 
2016: 32 goals 16 assists 
2015: 21 goals 4 assists
2014: 14 goals 5 assists
 
Abby was recognized as a top goal shooter across New Jersey varsity players earlier this fall (back story).
