Dedication of the Glover Memorial Garden
On Friday morning, September 29, a small group of Ranney community members joined together for a private dedication of the Gordon Glover Memorial Garden. Mr. Gordon Glover, father of Parson (6th) and James (9th), passed away last September. Gordon was a beloved member of our parent community, and our heart goes out to his wife, Priscilla, and their young children, who shared a reading of Rudyard Kipling’s “If” poem as part of the dedication.
Located at the front of campus along Hope Road, the memorial garden is meant to serve as a community space for healing, as well as an outdoor learning space for our students. The pond and surrounding greenery were restored over the summer and will continue to be improved upon as students and volunteers help to beautify the area.
