Ranney Sailors Receive Top Honors From NJISA

The New Jersey Interscholastic Sailing Association (NJISA) held its annual awards ceremony yesterday, with Ranney Sailors receiving top honors.  Luke Arnone received NJISA Sailor of the Year and Blake Epstein received NJISA Crew of the Year.  In addition, Luke Arnone and Cameron Giblin received NJISA First Team Skippers honors.  Blake Epstein, Matthew Hamelsky and Will Beyer received First Team Crew honors.  Freshman Brooke Schmelz received NJISA Second Team Skippers honors.

The Ranney Panthers also captured the top spot in the Fall NJISA Wednesday series and a third place finish in the Spring NJISA Wednesday series.  The achievements of the Ranney sailors are a direct result of their hard work, dedication and perseverance, a reflection of their coach Clay Johnson.

These individual honors are shared with the entire Ranney Sailing team consisting of Luke Arnone, Blake Epstein, Cameron Giblin, Matthew Hamelsky, Catherine Vucetic, William Beyer, George Sima, Brooke Schmelz and Hubert Wang, who collectively contribute to these great achievements.  The Ranney Sailing team is looking forward to the 2018 Fall season!
