US Robotics Team wins TCNJ Tournament Champions Award 
 
The Upper School Robotics team of Alex Klatsky ‘19, Sandy Wilderotter ‘21, Jiawen “Kevin” Yu ‘19, and Siqi “Emerald” Liu ‘21 won the TCNJ Tournament Champions Award on Sunday, December 9 in Ewing Township, NJ.
 
The group posted a semifinal score of 19-16 and a score in the finals of 19-14. They went 7-1 overall (M1: 15-14; M2: 21-3; M3: 20-7; M4: 19-7; M5: 21-11; M6: 11-16; SF: 19-16; F: 19-14).
 
VEX Robotics Competition Turning Point is played on a 12’x12’ square field between two alliances, composed of two teams each. They compete in matches consisting of a 15 second Autonomous Period, followed by a one minute and forty-five second Driver Controlled Period.
 
The object of the game is to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance by High Scoring or Low Scoring Caps, Toggling Flags, and by Alliance Parking or Center Parking Robots on the Platforms. For more information on the set up of the competition, view this video.
