R-HOPE Helps Those Facing Food Insecurity
Upper School’s student-led R-HOPE continued to raise funds and collect food to help those in our community facing food insecurity. Thanks to the generosity of our community and the efforts of senior leaders Sandy Wilderotter '21, Emily Zimmermann '21 and Olivia Batista '21, the Panthers collected more than 4,000 pounds of food which helped to feed more than 8,000 kids in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
The food drive this year also brought Ranney accolades from Fulfill, earning a place in the 2,500+ Club, the Division IV High School title, and second place overall in the Students Change Hunger competition. This follows last year's rookie campaign in the SCH Competition, when Ranney won the Heavyweight Champion title.
