Athletics Coaching Openings

Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach

Stipend position paid monthly throughout the season. Season is August 22-November 1st 2022.  Previous Head Coaching experience preferred but not required.  High level understanding of the tactical and technical aspects of the game of Field Hockey as well as the NFHS rules and regulations.  This highly motivated individual will possess exceptional communication skills, extensive practice planning, and experience with game management.  Requirements: 60 college credits, NJ Substitute Certificate, CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.  Interested applicants should email their resume, cover letter, coaching philosophy, and team mission statement to: Director of Athletics Natalie Gorman

Middle School Girls Lacrosse Assistant Coach

Stipend position paid monthly throughout the season. Season is March 7th-June 1st 2022. High level understanding of the tactical and technical aspects of the game of Lacrosse as well as the NFHS rules and regulations. This highly motivated individual will possess exceptional communication skills, extensive practice planning, and experience with game management. Requirements: CPR/AED and First Aid Certification. Lower School Physical Education Teacher and Upper School Strength and Conditioning Coach

This is a salary position which includes benefits as a full time Ranney School employee. This position is a dual role with the Physical Education Department and Athletic Department. This person will be a member of the teaching faculty in the Lower School Physical Education Department and a member of the Athletic Department as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Upper School Varsity Athletes. This position begins August 17th 2022 and ends with the school year on June 11th 2023. Requirements: 4 year degree in the fields of Physical Education, Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field required. Master's degree in related field preferred but not required. CSCS from the National Strength and Conditioning Association Required. CPR/AED and First Aid Certification Required. Experience Teaching or coaching of children age 3-5th grade required. Extensive knowledge of strength and conditioning program writing required. This highly motivated individual will possess incredible communication skills.
