Like most independent schools, Ranney relies on annual gifts to supplement tuition revenue. Tuition revenue primarily covers the salaries and benefits for Ranney's faculty and staff and the costs of maintaining our 60-acre campus. Gifts of all sizes help Ranney create an exceptional educational experience for our students.
Yes! Ranney School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit institution. Every gift is tax-deductible to the extent permissible under IRS regulations. The school's Tax ID number is 22-1853774.
Everyone in the Ranney community is asked to give including Board Trustees, parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty and staff. Our annual goal is 100% participation for our current families, faculty, staff, and Board of Trustees.
Donations of stock, bonds, or mutual funds can result in tax savings while benefiting Ranney School. These types of gifts may have added benefits such as capital gains tax savings. To transfer securities to Ranney School electronically, please provide the DTC (Depository Trust Company) instructions below to your broker or financial advisor. In order to promptly and accurately acknowledge your gift, please notify us prior to authorizing your stock transfer and ask your broker to include your name and address in the DTC transfer instructions.

Making a bequest can be as simple as listing Ranney School as a beneficiary in your will or retirement plan.
