Breaking New Ground: Building the Kiely Welcome Center

Over the summer, work began on the Kiely Family Welcome Center, made possible by a generous $1 million gift from Ranney alumnus John M. Kiely (’86), his wife Mary Kiely and his mother and father Carolyn and Jack Kiely Jr. This transformative new facility will replace the former Margaret Mahon Building, honoring the legacy of one of the school’s most beloved leaders while establishing a space dedicated to community, connection, and Panther pride.

The new Kiely Family Welcome Center will serve as the first point of contact for prospective families,Ranney parents, alumni, and visitors, reinforcing Ranney’s commitment to fostering a warm and inclusive environment. The facility will include state-of-the-art meeting and conference spaces, offices for the Admissions and Advancement teams, and inviting gathering areas for parents, alumni, and the broader school community.

In addition to the Kiely Family, the project has been generously supported by Ranney parents Mario and Katie Reyes, Ed and Melissa Braniff, Ramil and Maria Bhatnagar, the Ranney School Parents’ Association, and other generous donors. Opportunities to support the new facility remain available.

Construction will continue this year, with the estimated completion in the spring of 2026 to be used for the 2026-27 school year.
