Annual Fall Food Drive Collects More than 5,000 Pounds of Food
The annual Ranney School Fall Community Food Drive ran from October 14 through November 20, with food donations going to Lunch Break.
The second and final fall delivery of food donations was weighed out to be 3,500 pounds, which, when combined with the first delivery of food, brings the total donated to Lunch Break this year to 5,127 pounds.
In a partnership with Students Change Hunger, a federation of New Jersey food banks including Fulfill, Ranney will compete with other New Jersey schools to collect as much food as possible for Lunch Break and Fulfill. Schools that donate the most food and funds have the chance to receive awards.
Upper School club R.H.O.P.E., led by Emily Zimmermann '21 and Sandy Wilderotter '21, is organizing fundraisers to inspire our community to elevate the impact of our annual food drive.
