Boys' Basketball Makes History with Sectional Title

The Ranney boys' basketball team made history on Tuesday night as the No. 2 seeded Panthers defeated fifth-seeded Trenton Catholic 71-56 in the NJSIAA South Jersey, Non-Public B final. The win brought Ranney its first sectional championship, coming just a week and a half after the team won the school's first Shore Conference Championship title.

Bryan Antoine had a game-high 28 points, while Scottie Lewis scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Savior Akuwovo finished with eight points and Alex Klatsky had six points.
Saturday, Ranney will play either Roselle Catholic or Gill St. Benard's, whichever wins the North Non-Public B final this Thursday night. 
North Jersey, Non-Public B champion, which will be the winner of No. 1 Roselle Catholic and No. 2 Gill St. Bernard's. The North, Non-Public B final will be played on Thursday night at 8 p.m. at Rutgers.
