Afford a Ranney School Education

Ranney School’s tuition reflects the quality of the educational and student life experience offered to our students, who come to our 60-acre campus in Tinton Falls from 60-plus towns across Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Ranney’s Comprehensive Tuition (see our FAQs at right)enables us to provide students, age 3 to Grade 12, with expert faculty (more than 60% have advanced degrees), small class sizes, and the technology and resources to support our student-centered approach to education.

In addition to fostering critical and creative thinking through our innovative curriculum, encouraging balance through robust student life programs, and supporting student success through a nurturing learning community, our tuition program also includes: school lunch for all students; unlimited access to before and aftercare until 6 p.m.; unlimited participation in clubs, sports, and other extracurricular activities; and access to technology.

Tuition ranges from: $11,200 to $19,500 for Early Childhood; $22,500-$27,800 for Kindergarten–Fifth Grade; and $30,900 – $34,000 for Middle and Upper School (Grades 6-12).
Please contact our Admissions Team for more information about tuition, including need-based financial aid, merit-based academic scholarships, and sibling discounts.

Q: What is comprehensive tuition?
A: Families pay one price for the student’s education; this price eliminates any additional payments to Ranney School throughout the year; the one-price comprehensive tuition price is made in scheduled installments.

Q: What fees and services are included in the comprehensive tuition?
A: Comprehensive Tuition includes: lunch (Kindergarten-Grade 12), academic technology fees, co-curricular and testing fees, books (Beginners-Grade 5), and aftercare for Lower School until 6 p.m. Comprehensive Tuition does not include: school uniforms, books (Upper/Middle School), transportation, voluntary student activities (such as international travel), or programs supported by tax-deductible contributions to the Ranney Fund

Q: Will applying for financial aid affect my child’s chances for admission to Ranney?
A: In order to ensure a need-blind admission decision, the Admission Committee considers each applicant without knowing whether or not the applicant’s family is applying for financial aid. Upon acceptance of a student, the Financial Aid Committee convenes to review the financial aid application.
