When the clock struck midnight for New Year in China, it was during the school day on Thursday, Feb. 15 in Tinton Falls. International Program Coordinator Katia Barone organized a Chinese New Year celebration for Ranney international students, giving them the opportunity to watch a live stream of the festivities in China, Skype with their families, enjoy traditional snacks, play games, and sing songs typical of Chinese New Year.
During lunch, the students made food and enjoyed traditional cuisine to help them celebrate and bring a little bit of home to the Ranney campus.
Our mission is to know and value every child, nurturing intellectual curiosity and confidence, and inspiring students to lead honorably, think creatively, and contribute meaningfully to society.
