Two Fencers Win Championships

Congratulations to two Ranney School Varsity Fencers who won two championships at the Prep Tournament last week. Eren Kokes ’23 won the NJ Prep Epee Championship and Gwen Kokes ’25 won the NJ Prep Foil Championship. 

“I didn’t know what to expect this season with so many freshmen,” said Head Coach Mac Shaker. “All I know is that I have a team who fights hard. We literally had to take it one touch at a time and it paid off. Getting two gold medals out of six was really an amazing result. I'm so proud of the team and can't wait for the next season. "
