Students Accepted into CJMEA Elementary Honors Band

Congratulations to the following students on their acceptances into the 2024 Central Jersey Music Educators Elementary Honors Band.  
 
Griffin Alexander '31-5th Grade-Trumpet
Dylan Bright '32-4th Grade-Trombone
Logan Cabilla '31-5th Grade-Trombone
Kaya Kalomiris '32-4th Grade-Flute
Jai Rathi '32-4th Grade-Trumpet
Dario Ricciardelli '32-4th Grade-Trumpet
Lea Wang '31-5th Grade-Flute
Omar Zamel '30-6th Grade-Clarinet
 
These students have earned their seats in the 2024 CJMEA Elementary Honors Band and will rehearse and perform with them on April 27th at Hillsborough High School.  The concert will be at 2:30, and Ranney School's Band Director, John Propper, will be the conductor for their ensemble.  These students completed an in-school audition consisting of scales, sight reading, and a prepared piece. 
 
"Congratulations to all of the accepted CJMEA Elementary Honors Band students!" said Mr. Propper. "I'm so excited to rehearse and conduct our students among other honors band students during the 2024 CJMEA Elementary Honors Festival.  We will all proudly represent Ranney School's band and Performing Arts Department."
