Distance learning continues to include exciting and outside-the-box educational tools, such as video creation, which the Upper School World Language Department used to demonstrate students' conversational skills.
Students in French II and II Honors are working on reflexive verbs and vocabulary with their morning routine. This week, for a quiz, they created videos talking about their morning routine and used props to illustrate the vocabulary. They had to respond to one classmate's video too, and Senora Garcia provided three examples:
Senora Mantlick’s Spanish 1 students created videos on FlipGrid in Spanish, detailing activities they do during quarantine in their house, yard and neighborhood. “The students did a really nice job creating these, and I think the Ranney Community will be interested to see them,” said Senora Mantlick.
