Spanish 6 Students Create Winter Celebration Videos
Dr. Niki Kiviat’s Middle School Spanish 6 students created flipgrid videos in which students had to pick a Spanish-speaking country, research the country's flag, and describe components of that country's Christmas, New Year's, or Hanukkah celebrations (weather, important dates, relevant symbols and foods, etc.)
The students wrote their own scripts, and on Tuesday, Dec. 8, the classes watched the videos together with some holiday snacks.
