Khushi '25 Wins First Place AATSP Poster at State Level
Khushi Patel '25 won 1st place in the NJAATSP Poster Contest in the Hand Drawn Category for grades 6-8. She will receive an award certificate and the winners will be posted on the website at njaatsp.org.
"I am so very proud of her for her beautiful work," said Dr. Niki Kiviat, Middle School World Language Department faculty member.
Since many of the students were virtual at the time, Dr. Kiviat had the students submit Flipgrid videos (done in English) presenting their posters and why they chose the symbols, words, etc. that they did. Khushi's video can be seen here.
"Her poster demonstrates creativity, focus, motivation, and relevance to the theme of diversity," said Ina Gurman, NJAATSP Poster Contest Coordinator.
