Jonathan Stubbs '26 Earns a Spot with CJMEA Band

Congratulations to Jonathan Stubbs '26 on his acceptance into the Central Jersey Music Educators Association (CJMEA) Intermediate Regional Symphonic Band on the trumpet.  Jonathan auditioned at Manville High School on Saturday, February 5 by preparing and performing a trumpet etude, a variety of scales, and a sight-reading example for numerous judges. 

Jonathan will rehearse with the honors ensemble and will perform on Sunday, March 6 at Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School.  
 
"These particular auditions are very challenging and competitive, but through hard work and perseverance, Jonathan was able to emerge successfully," said Ranney All-School Band Director John Propper. "We are so proud to have Jonathan represent Ranney School and the Performing Arts Department in the CJMEA Intermediate Regional Symphonic Band."
