Swimming Makes History at Monmouth County Championship
The Ranney School swim team made history this week as Daren Chen '25 captured first place in the 100 Fly, with a school record and the Panthers' first Monmouth County Champ in school history. He also came in second place in the 100 Free.
Hope D'Orsi '26 placed third in the 100 Fly with a new school record and highest finish in school history.
Swimmers who helped and competed: Ava Ansell '2, Kylie Newton '26 (Finaled in her events), Alex Presutti '24, Michaela D'Arcy '24, Nolan Webb '27, Luke Gmelich '26.
"I was proud of our team for their effort and support of one another," said Varsity Head Coach Pete DeNoble. "Their pride in their ability and school was on full display. It's an exciting time to be a part of the program as we are making history with each competition."
