Students Make Strides Against Breast Cancer

Ranney School students, teachers, administrators and parents joined hundreds of other teams in the annual “Making Strides against Breast Cancer” walk.
Braving unseasonably cool temperatures and gusty winds, nearly 30 Ranney School students, teachers, administrators and parents joined hundreds of other teams in the annual “Making Strides against Breast Cancer” walk on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk, Saturday, October 19. The Ranney team was led by Upper School History teacher and breast cancer survivor, Mrs. Linda Abrams, Student Activities Coordinator Kate Walsh and Upper School junior Samantha Marc. Together, their team raised nearly $2,000 in pledges, the largest amount ever raised by Ranney school. Congratulations to our Ranney team!
