The Board of Trustees Thanks Annual Fund Volunteers and Donors at Special Reception
The Ranney School Board of Trustees is always grateful for the support of the Ranney community, especially the Annual Fund volunteers and donors who provide that “above and beyond” support that helps fund the many unique educational programs and activities that distinguish a Ranney education from that of other schools.
The Ranney School Board of Trustees is always grateful for the support of the Ranney community, especially the Annual Fund volunteers and donors who provide that “above and beyond” support that helps fund the many unique educational programs and activities that distinguish a Ranney education from that of other schools. As an expression of that gratitude, the Board of Trustees hosted a special reception on March 18 in RSPA Panther Hall, just prior to the monthly Board meeting. The Board took the opportunity to personally thank volunteers who have given so generously their time by reaching out to the extended Ranney community as Annual Fund ambassadors, and donors for their philanthropic support of the 2008/2009 Annual Fund.
Daniel Goldberg, M.D., Board of Trustees Chair; Lawrence Sykoff, Head of School; and Carol Martin, Board member and Co-Chair, with her husband Tom, of the Annual Fund Committee, thanked the volunteers and donors for their tireless commitment to Ranney School. The evening’s event stressed the critical importance of the Annual Fund in responding to the evolving financial needs of the school, most importantly activities and events that help bring the curriculum to life through trips, speakers, faculty development and extracurricular activities.
As we approach the end of March we are nearing 50% of our participation goal and look forward to reaching that goal by our closing date of June 30, 2009. The Annual Fund Committee continues to encourage all members of the Ranney community to participate – at whatever level is comfortable for each family.
