Local Non-Profit Recognizes Three Ranney Seniors
Long Branch Concordance (LBC) will recognize Ranney seniors Katherine Weinstein, Allison Lyttle and Jesse Feldmus on May 31 for their efforts in organizing a very successful uniform drive that has benefited dozens of local families, helping them outfit their children for the upcoming school year.

LBC is a non-profit organization that links people to affordable and accessible health care, transportation, utility plans, groceries, job opportunities, and financial planning services that help families stay intact
A letter of recognition from LBC thanked the students, faculty and parents of Ranney School for their thoughtful support of the organization’s work. Director of Outreach Emma J. Caban said, “Each day we welcome families in need through our doors, we are reminded that your vote of confidence allows us to continue our important life-changing work. Together, we are building strong families and protecting communities.” In speaking of Katherine, Allison and Jesse, she added, “It is acts of kindness like this that make a large difference in the health of a community and we look forward to recognizing the efforts of these amazing students before they leave for college.”
The recognition ceremony will be held at the LBC
Picnic with a Purpose on Sunday, May 31, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., at Jerry Morgan Park in Long Branch. Event highlights will include tips on energy conservation from New Jersey Natural Gas, refreshments donated by Grand National Market, children’s activities and crafts, and the launch of LBC’s new membership drive. Members of the Ranney family are invited to attend.
