Ranney faculty and staff received an extra holiday treat this season thanks to the generosity and goodwill of members of the Ranney School Parents’ Association.
As part of their annual tradition, RSPA held Staff Appreciation Day, also known as “Cookie Day,” on Thursday, December 17. The Commons was filled with the tantalizing aromas of beautifully decorated homemade and store bought cookies and treats as Ranney parents banded together early Thursday morning to coordinate and then deliver golden baskets of goodies, in tribute to Ranney’s 50th Anniversary, to every faculty and staff member.
Each beautifully adorned basket bore a message of appreciation and gratitude to Ranney teachers and staff for all their hard work and dedication throughout the year. On a golden clipboard replete with a golden pencil, RSPA’s message was poignant and heartfelt:
We appreciate you-
For yours are the hands that make the Ranney clock tick;
For every second of the smile you brought to a child’s face;
For every minute of the tears you helped to dry;
For every hour of your effort and enthusiasm;
For the days and years of your commitment and hard work
We cannot thank you enough.
