Youth Art Month is an annual March event but this year the Visual Arts Department and the National Art Honor Society are sponsoring a week of special events and activities to help spread the joy of the arts and build appreciation and understanding of how important the visual arts are to our lives. Beginning March 8 with a caricature artist coming to the Middle and Upper Schools to draw some of our students and continuing through the 12th with advisory competitions in daily Art Trivia and a bulletin board covered in famous artworks that advisory groups will compete to identify. Finally at the end of the week teams of students will compete in Pictionary during the lunch periods in both the Middle and Upper School.
