Middle School Students Dazzle at Third Annual Talent Calvacade

Middle School Students took to the stage on Friday, April 16 and dazzled Ranney faculty, family, and friends with a cornucopia of talent that included music, dance, comedy and dramatic monologue.

Twenty-eight performances comprised this year’s Third Annual Middle Talent Calvacade that took place on the Commons Black Box Stage.

 

From entertaining covers of contemporary artists such as Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift to powerful renditions from some of Broadway’s most popular shows like Wicked and Les Miserable, the evening also included moving performances by Ranney’s aspiring pianists and actors who showcased their remarkable artistry to an appreciate audience.

 

Directed by John Doyle, Ranney’s Middle and Upper School drama teacher, the evening also included Tess Nielsen, Performing Arts Chair, who accompanied several students on the piano.
