As our summer days quickly draw to a close, and a new school year is just around the corner, it is a perfect time to look back at all that our campers and students accomplished over the course of the last two months while attending our Summer Programs at Ranney School.
As our summer days quickly draw to a close, and a new school year is just around the corner, it is a perfect time to look back at all that our campers and students accomplished over the course of the last two months while attending our Summer Programs at Ranney School.
The students who participated in our well-attended and redesigned Academic Program, and our newly implemented Gifted and Talented Program, flourished with high-interest topics and engaging coursework. From engineering skyscrapers and bridges to Viewpoints, a course with program elements that have received the National Association of Gifted Children Award, our students were dynamic and successful learners.
Our Fine and Performing Arts students explored the world of creative arts from drawing, photography and sculpture, to public speaking, acting and music. They performed magnificently and are sure to bring the skills they developed this summer into their classrooms in the fall. With more finely honed performance skills, and increased confidence in their areas of individual talent, students are sure to see these benefits translate into academic success as well.
Each morning at 9:00 a.m., the members of our Day Camp, Trip Camp and Sports Camp Programs arrived ready to greet the day with activities ranging from swimming and field day to talent shows and the ever popular Carnival Day. It is safe to say that our campers enjoyed the summer months and developed wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!
Our well-attended Summer Programs at Ranney School proved to be second to none! We are so proud of the accomplishments of all of our students and campers.
Please be sure to visit our web site for updates to our Summer Programs at Ranney School 2011 schedule. The new academic program will include additional programming and curricular courses implementing the Johns Hopkins University's Talent Development program. We look forward to seeing you again, next summer!
