On Saturday, November 20th, the Ranney Middle School Forensics Team attended the annual forensics festival at Rumson Country Day School in Rumson, New Jersey. The annual event showcased the talents of over 150 students from eight schools, including Oak Hill Academy, Far Hills Academy, St. Veronica’s, St. Jerome’s, Ocean Township Middle School, and Rumson Country Day School.
Our Ranney students distinguished themselves by claiming thirteen of the outstanding finalist awards. Students competed in the categories of declamation, storytelling, and dramatic pairs. Congratulations to the following Ranney winners:

As competitive and as organized as any of our varsity sports, the Ranney Middle School Forensics Team has won hundreds of awards during the past 15 years in the categories of dramatic pairs, declamation, storytelling, humorous interpretation of literature, poetry, and dramatic interpretation of literature. In fact, Ranney Forensics has won more awards in the last four years than any other school with whom the team has competed.
