Craig Slater Makes National Rowing Team
Congratulations to Ranney’s own junior-sculler, Craig Slater ’12 of the varsity crew team, on making the Junior National World Rowing Team!
Beginning this June, Craig, along with 35 other rowers and six coxswains, attended the USRowing Junior Men’s National Team Sweep Selection Camp in Kent, Connecticut. Based on review from five highly respected coaches, 18 oarsmen and two coxswains from the crew camp were chosen to represent the United States at the Junior World Championships. Craig was one of only three rising high school seniors chosen to compete in Eton, Great Britain from August 4-7.
