Campers Show-Off Talent to Friends & Family

Parents and friends witnessed talent and drive in campers this summer as Ranney hosted two Camp Talent Shows on Friday, July 22, 2011.

Separated by both age and group, the day consisted of a Talent Show session for children ages three through eight and another for campers aged nine or older. As family members traveled up the staircase of the Commons and to the Blackbox Theater, they not only met smiling children eager to perform, but also had the opportunity to see each groups’ artwork on display.

With everyone seated, the shows began as students sang and danced to songs by artists Jon Bon Jovi, Queen and The Jackson 5. The audience also heard “It’s a Small World,” “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” and a special tribute — “Ranney Camp is Here.” Just two of four Camp Talent Shows to be presented this summer, parents can also catch another Talent Show on Friday, August 12, 2011. Show times have yet to be determined.
