At Ranney, every child is known and valued. So far this school year, many athletes and students from various grade levels have soared to new and outstanding heights. While we recognize the hard work and talent of all students at Ranney, a number have recently shared their notable highlights with us, and we congratulate them on these achievements.
Dana Rizzo (Wall)
After trumping many opponents within the Junior Jumper Equestrian Division at previous competitions including the
Garden State Horse Show and Washington International Horse Show in 2011,
Dana Rizzo ’13 recently advanced to the next division available in her age bracket. As she works to overcome added challenges that come with competing at a higher level,
Dana is grateful to have received the opportunity to excel as an athlete, and is continuing to maintain a strong academic focus as well.

When not out on the water, Liz can be found carving up the ice as a member of the Garden State Skating Club. A skater since age five, Liz passed her 12th U.S. Figure Skating (USFS) test on March 2. She is a USFS Silver Medalist who passed her Junior level test last year and is in training with her personal coach Barbara Delaney-Smith for the Gold, which she hopes to receive within the year.
