Ranney to Host 18th Annual Two Rivers Antiques and Arts Show Events

Ranney School will open its campus to the 18th Annual Two Rivers Antiques and Arts Show, welcoming the local community to enjoy the events around the show while benefitting the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center at Monmouth Medical.

The Two Rivers Antiques and Art Show and Garden Tour is the major fundraiser for the Wilentz Breast Center enabling it to remain on the forefront of breast cancer detection, diagnosis and treatment. Now entering its 18th year, this unique event draws well over 1,000 attendees and has raised in excess of $2 million since its inception to provide cutting edge technology and the most advanced breast care available to women in our community.

The events on campus began on Wednesday, September 12, with an interactive presentation and discussion of how antiques and art can enrich your family’s life, featuring Ron Bassin of A Bird in Hand Antiques, Steven Shapiro of Saje Americana, and Bernadette Rogoff, Curator of Museum Collections with the Monmouth County Historical Association. Following the discussion, there will be a trunk show featuring Designs by Nadya.

The Antiques and Arts Show will open on Friday, September 28, with the Preview Party, in the Gerhard Pavilion for Athletics main gym from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and includes cocktails, light fare and an auction. Guests will also have the opportunity to browse the more than 24 vendors offering a variety of rare antiques and artwork that will be for sale during the show. The Preview Party tickets are available for purchase at $145 per person in advance (advance registration required) online and includes admission to the show through the weekend.

On Saturday, September 29, the show will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and this year, provides an added component of a Vineyard Tour, offered by 4JG Winery in Colts Neck. Transportation will be offered between the school campus and the vineyard. Saturday evening, a special wine and cheese tasting will be held for members of the Ranney School community, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person.

The show will conclude on Sunday, September 30, and will be open to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
