Join Us at Ranney for a Weekend of Panther Pride

Our great fall traditions kick off this weekend! On Friday, all students join together for the first pep rally of the school year. A series of events on Saturday include athletic games, a barbeque, and RSPA's Fall Festival. Ranney School welcomes the entire school community—especially our new families and returning alumni—
to enjoy a weekend filled with Panther Pride.

Friday Sept. 20th

1:45-2:35 pm - Ranney School will kick off Homecoming weekend with a school wide pep rally celebrating all Panther fall sports teams.
After the pep rally, the following teams will be playing:
  • Varsity Boys’ Soccer vs. Henry Hudson; home @ 4:15 pm
  • Varsity Girls’ Tennis vs. Stuart Country Day; home @ 4:15 pm
  • Varsity Field Hockey vs. Shore Regional; away @ 4:00 pm
  • Varsity Cross Country @ Battle of Ocean County Park; away @ 3:30 pm
  • JV Girls’ Tennis vs. Stuart Country Day; away @ 4:15 pm

Saturday Sept. 21st

10:00 am - Athletic games begin:
  • Middle School Girls’ Tennis vs. Rutgers Prep; home @ 10:00 am
  • Middle School Girls’ Soccer vs. Rutgers Prep; home @ 10:00 am
  • Middle School Boys’ Soccer (Blue) vs. Rutgers Prep; home @ 11:00 am
  • JV Girls’ Tennis vs. Rutgers Prep; home @ 11:30 am
12:30 pm - Welcome Back Barbeque in the Dining Hall—Ranney School families, friends and members of the faculty and administration are invited to a barbeque to celebrate the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year.
  • Varsity Field Hockey vs. Hamilton West High School; home @ 1:30 pm
2:00-5:00 pm - Fall Festival - The Ranney School Parents’ Association (RSPA) invites everyone to join them for the traditional Fall Festival. Throughout the day, there will be crafts, inflatables, pumpkin patches and decorating, refreshments, pony rides, a balloon artist, games, a petting zoo, spin art and a variety of activities including Build Your Own Scarecrow, a Haunted House, Ranney Idol with a DJ, and horse and carriage rides. Carnival games will benefit the Upper School classes and Student Council, while the Middle School will use cotton candy and popcorn sales as a fundraiser. Along with a gently-used uniform sale, the RSPA will also be collecting food for local nonprofit organization Lunch Break and new or gently used Halloween costumes for Family & Children Services.
  • Varsity Girls’ Soccer vs. Nottingham High School; home @ 2:00 pm
6:30 pm - Alumni Reunion - Ranney School alumni will return to campus to reconnect with friends and teachers and to celebrate the 2013 Athletic Hall of Fame Inductions. The Alumni Art Exhibition will also be on display in the Panther Hall gallery.
