Early Childhood at Ranney School

Ranney’s Early Childhood Education program is especially designed to support the physical and cognitive development of three-, four- and five-year-old children. In doing so, the program is led by a team of teachers whose first focus in teaching is to support both young children and their parents through the transition process from home to school.

Our Early Childhood program engages the interests of Beginners, PreKindergartners and Kindergarteners and draws upon their abilities, encouraging curiosity and creativity. In our classrooms, expert teachers introduce children to a rich and challenging curriculum; it is here that students develop a life-long love for learning.

In this 10-minute video, watch our youngest students as they go about their daily routines and hear from parents directly why they chose Ranney School as the foundation for developing their children’s full potential. Learn more about Ranney’s Early Childhood Education program, and view our videos and media articles. Join us during our school-day Open House on Thursday, April 10 for the full experience Register online.

Our mission is to know and value every child, nurturing intellectual curiosity and confidence, and inspiring students to lead honorably, think creatively, and contribute meaningfully to society.

We envision Ranney School as a nurturing learning community, in which families, faculty, alumni, and all of Ranney’s constituents collaborate to know and value every child, foster individual talents, sustain powerful connections between children and adults, and graduate resilient, globally-minded citizens.
