Ranney’s Upper School productions of “Our Town” and “The Threepenny Opera” were a huge hit among students, faculty, administrators, parents and community members alike. Now, the Count Basie Theater is acknowledging the hard work of the casts, including Director John Doyle and Producer Tess Nielsen, with 10 nominations for the 2014 Count Basie Awards. Students from Ranney’s “Threepenny” musical will also get a chance to perform at the 9th annual awards ceremony on May 21.
